New Moon in Scorpio - 2 November 05
Each of these four energies could hardly be more different from the others and, in this New Moon chart, they are at the four corners of a great square. As they are geometrically connected, the principles they represent have to work together for the next month. This particular great square would seem to be about the intense focus and commitment involved in bringing powerful people to an agreed course of humanitarian action. The drive behind the action would need leadership, at the same time accepting each individual’s contribution as worthy of inclusion.

Full Moon in Aries 17 October 05
This autumn is not easy. Because everything is connected, when our Earth upheaves in various ways, destroying what people have built, these effects are mirrored in our personal lives. With the Sun and Jupiter moving through the end of Libra, we are trying to maintain balance, and the Moon being in Aries on 17 October could show as fighting for the peace we want, which in fact engenders more aggression.

Soul Astrology - New Moon in Libra 3 October
This month, we are likely to be more aware of the socially accepted ways of relating: for instance consideration of others and diplomatic _expression, as well as the hypocrisy of ‘niceness’ that hides judgement and criticism – seeming acceptable whilst feeling antagonistic.

Full Moon in Pisces 17/18 September 05
I haven’t been talking about Full Moons in these e-mails, but the next one looks rather striking, so I thought a comment might be valuable. One noteworthy transit is Jupiter moving fast through the last part of Libra during September/October. At the Full Moon, Jupiter will be exactly opposite the new planet, 2003 UB313, in Aries (notes on this planet are included below).

New Moon in Virgo, 3/4 September 2005
The run up to this New Moon in Virgo has seen awkward circumstances around relationships. Arrangements of a romantic, artistic or spiritual nature may have been
problematic, or fallen through completely. Any difficulty
probably arose through putting trust in appearances and
hoped-for outcomes, rather than in ‘gut feelings,’ which
are intuitive responses in the solar plexus (Mars in Taurus
square Neptune, late August). The consequent let-downs
could have been very hurtful, but are not likely to be
permanently damaging (Jupiter’s present Libran alliance
with Venus, who trined Neptune at the end of August). On
the practical level, difficulties have more obvious results, which have to be dealt with.

New Moon in Leo, 5 August 2005 by Margaret Koolman
All what has occured brings us to the New Moon
moment in Leo, when Sun, Moon and retrograde Mercury, all
sextile Jupiter on the Moon’s South Node in Libra. The Sun
rules Leo and is therefore the most powerful of the group,
tending to pull into its naturally positive life force all
events (Moon) and communications (Mercury). Mercury
retrograde implies that we are talking over old events, and
the Libran addition suggests that those events are
affecting our personal relationships. There is the
possibility here that, through gentle discussion, we may
find again the love between us that has been hidden under
the hard experiences of life.

Saturn shifting from Cancer to Leo (July 2005)
On 16 July, Saturn moves into Leo, and the aspect of character to be reviewed and updated will be our style of self-_expression. The way we will be aware of Saturn’s principle is through events and people forcing us to look at those things we have been putting off. Saturn will start by opposing Chiron, the wound and the healer, around 21 July. This suggests that we will start by dealing with those things we have been avoiding because we fear they’ll hurt.

New Moon in Cancer, 6 July 2005
The Sun is in Cancer for one month every
year, and we have the opportunity to experience the
principle of nurturing everyone we regard as family,
whether that be close blood relations or the entire human
race. For two days every month, the Moon also transits
Cancer. Emotions rise, and we discover again how it feels
to be a child needing motherly love and nurture.

What is the Purpose of Your Generation?
What I have found with astrology is that it is not a trainable topic. You relate to astrology or you do not. You can relate to it as an informational piece that really sparks things inside of you and you can use it and work with it and grow from it. Or you might relate to astrology as a tool that you can really pick up and use. But it is not a tool that you can make your brain use if it doesn’t want to. However it comes to you just let it be so.
